After the extensive rennovation of our location, 8 Wolf Rd. Albany, previously known as the “Bankok Thai Restaurant”, the Tandoori restaurant had our grand opening on Dec. 20th 2008. Our concept is simple, presenting the Pakistani and Indian cuisine with a traditional, yet a modern look. We serve a large variety of Pakistani and Indian cuisine ranging from authentic sauces, delecious lassies, mouth-watering appetizers, savory tandoori items and traditional desserts. Our portions are generous and our prices are modest. We offer a daily lunch buffet Mon-Fri, from 11:30am- 3:00pm. After 3:00pm, our dishes are made to order. Sit back, relax, and have a cup of our authentic Kashmiri Chai (pink tea) from our tea corner, which has gained popularity from it’s unique flavor. Stop by on Saturdays and Sundays for our featured all day weekend buffets, serving an array of our favorites. Perfect for birthdays, showers or lunch meetings, our party room is available for occassions of 25-80 people. Celebrate your special moments by enjoying your favorite food in a comfortable environment.

“We’re just trying to gauge what dishes everyone will like. We plan to have all kinds of vegetarian options, plenty of lamb and beef dishes, kebabs,” Kadambi said. “Apart from that, nobody has explored as many possibilities as far as Indian Pakistani food.
Memorable weekend buffet.
Great Location! Great Experience!!
Dining hall was a multi-purpose room that was used for formal dinners, parties, recitals, and dances. The separate dining hall was an uncommon architectural form. Although extravagant in concept, the hall was rather plain in appearance. It is a place associated with entertainment as well as work, with its atmosphere changing throughout the day.
Food in itself has been heavily promoted as an attraction for tourists, and is usually promoted by various initiatives .

Great food!
With an extensive menu, serving only Halal/Zabihah meats, recently re-designed decor, blending Rajasthani (Indian) ambiance with ultra trendy silk sarees, candles and wall tapestries and the addition of a Live in-house Dj on weekends, we have more to offer than just great food and a cool vibe, we have perfected the most memorable experience in Indian and Pakistani dining
For starters, may we recommend some Spicy Tandoori Wings or perhaps the milder Chicken or Vegetable Samosas or even better yet, Tandoori Paneer, a vegetarian delight. The menu is filled with selections to please each individual taste bud, for those who are seasoned veterans of Indian/Pakistani dining or for the folks attempting, with slight reluctance, to enjoy their very first experience. Work your way through the many choices, try to do things ‘family-style’, order some Tandoori dishes, may we recommend the Mixed Grill, or perhaps a Curry dish, like the staff favorite, Chicken Tikka Masala. Even more excitement comes in the form of our Biryani’s, especially the ever-succulent Prawn or Fish Biryani, be sure to give one of those, or both, a try. Vegetarians need not worry as the expanded menu includes many of the old favorites as well as some new creations. Have you ever tried any Okra dishes, well if not, try our Tawa Bhindi, a mildly spicy entree, made with sautéed tomatoes and onions, or stick with Chana Masala or Palak Paneer, dishes that work equally well with some of our saffron infused Basmati Rice or any of our varieties of Naan. With all this great food, be sure to order one of our Lassi’s, a Traditional yogurt drink, which is more like a fruit smoothie, designed to complement the dinner you’re about to enjoy. And finally, complete your dining experience here by saving room for a warm serving of Gulab Jamun or for our signature dessert, an ice-cold Faluda, ideal for soothing your senses.
